I am thinking about the time years ago when Kevin and I, pulled our chairs up to The Table, pledged our whole selves, and set down our offerings.
I should admit that I thought mine were significant and sufficient and his looked tempting.
We might have paid more attention to those offerings than we did to the Table--but time and experience has given us some wisdom.
Christ is the Table we have come to sit at.
He can provide a feast and He graciously invites us in and so kindly accepts our offerings.
